Andrea Holladay was one of the first people to bring ABA services to Polk County, she played an integral part of the growth and training of new providers in our area. Her work and passion in this field set the stage for everything we are doing, and we would not be able to provide the impactful services we offer without her. Even if you never had the chance to meet her, I ensure you, she had a hand in what we do as she built this clinic and trained and mentored so many of our staff. It is important to me to honor what she has done and what HCDS means as all of us are now able to have a better quality of life because of all of her hard work and love for all kids. 

 

Over the next few months, you will see that we are slowly changing our signage to indicate a recent name change from Holladay Child Development Services to Rooted ABA. 

 

Roots have always been meaningful to me. So much growth happens underground, unseen by our eyes, but crucial to the stability and health of the plant. The deeper the roots grow, the stronger the plant. Roots even have this neat way of growing stronger on the side that is opposite the wind. They adapt to ensure that the tree is able to weather the storms of life.

 

In this space, I see your child’s growth as a sacred thing we get to be a part of. Our job is to partner with you to give your child what they need to grow into the best version of themselves that they can be. This is a process, and like the roots of a plant, so much growth happens unseen. It’s an honor to be able to walk alongside each of you and be a part of your child’s story.
